  13 streets has come to convert to more energy-saving LED street light in Laishan district over the last three years, involving about 1050 pieces of LED street lamps. According to statistics more than 480,000 yuan on the electricity bill has been saved in 2016 compared to that in 2015. The current plan this year is convert 2,216 traditional lights to LED street lamps including East Avenue Gangcheng, South road in Shannan, Zhen road, Guishan road, etc. The estimated electricity-saving bill is about 900,000 yuan, said the spokesperson.

  Converting to new LED street lamps can contribute to improve road lighting brightness and help energy saving, and also improve the urban image , increase the international influence of the city. Meanwhile, it is significant to improve national environment and sustainable development.
